TheraBreath

As many of you know, I work as a special education teacher for preschool children with special needs. Specifically, my job is to work with them one-on-one on skills that they are struggling with. They come to my office and sit with me at my table while we work/play. This calls for very close contact. Those of you who have children or who are around them often know that they say whatever is on their minds. They will not hesitate to tell you, “Your breath stinks.” So how do you combat bad breath? I mean, I brush twice a day, I floss, I don’t eat onions, and I visit my dentist every 6 months. How in the world can I still have bad breath when I take all these precautions? TheraBreath has developed several clinically proven products to eliminate all types of bad breath, including strong food odors, morning breath, and smoker’s breath.

I had the opportunity to try 3 of these products, TheraBreath Oral Rinse, TheraBreath Toothpaste, and the TheraBreath Mouth Wetting Lozenges. I am always reluctant to try new oral care products for a couple of different reasons. First of all, some toothpastes don’t seem “strong” enough and shortly after brushing my teeth, I have already lost that “fresh” feeling. Second of all, I have some sensory issues and some oral care products trigger my gag reflex.

I was especially reluctant to try the TheraBreath toothpaste after reading the instructions which state that the toothpaste is to be used dry. That was a little weird at first just because it’s not what I’m used to doing, but I followed the instructions and afterward I did seem to have cleaner breath. The TheraBreath Oral Rinse is designed to work along with the toothpaste. You use this to rinse your mouth after brushing instead of rinsing with water.

My absolute favorite of all the products that I tried were the TheraBreath Mouth Wetting Lozenges. These lozenges stop dry mouth, attack germs, and restore fresh breath. They are indvidually packaged making it easy to slip a handful in your pocket or purse. Not only do they freshen your breath, but they combat dry mouth and leave your mouth feeling fresh long after the lozenge is gone!

These are great products that really do help combat the nasty bacteria that cause bad breath. They must work if even my preschoolers notice a difference and no longer tell me, “Your breath stinks!”
